Jo VanGroningen (she/her)

If you’ve been to the studio, you know Jo. She’s completed a wide range of training, including her Moksha 500-hour training in 2016, flow 100-hour training in 2018, and Buti yoga in 2019, and has been training in Yin since 2017. In 2023, Jo got her Pilates certification.

Jo believes a core pillar of guiding classes is accessibility for all levels. She has been spending more time diving into the roots of yoga and focuses on being present and holding space for each person every time they hit their mats. Building community is so incredibly important to Jo! Whether it is a Flow class or Yin, she loves it all and tries to bring a class for everyone. Live music Yin classes are one of her faves! She loves music and brings new playlists to class, but can also balance leading classes with just breath. When not in the studio, you can find her out on the trails or hustling in Southwestern Ontario with her professional work in the mental health field.
